Who developed Math content?
Math content was developed by US school teachers having more than 10 years of classroom teaching experience. Therefore, each student gets a unique practice test every single time. For English, PracTutor has 7000+ passages with 41,000 related questions covering all aspects of comprehension and language.
How frequently do you update Math and English content?
We add new questions to Math and English every single day and they are proofread, checked and deployed every month. Our team of programmers and teachers work every day to create new and meaningful questions. Chances are a new question is being created as you are reading this.
Do you plan to add more subjects and grades?
Yes, we plan to add grades K, 9 and 10 in the coming months. We plan to add other subjects like History, Sciences and Social Studies in the future, but right now we are focusing on Math and English, which are the most important subjects from a competitive examination perspective.
Do you provide writing practice?
Yes! In ELA every test will have a writing response question, where a student needs to write the answer and fill in a self-assessment rating card. Based on both, the teacher assesses the student.
How can I plan lessons to match with Common Core Standards?
PracTutor has introduced a new Assign function. Now, you can plan your lessons on PracTutor and assign them too. Visit the assign page, select standards and the students you want to assign them to. Students will only see the standards that you assign to them.
The Curriculum Function gives an overview of the entire curriculum. It lists lessons as per the Common Core Standards. Teachers can reshuffle, assign and hide standards.
